The DSXF2 is designed with advanced LED technology and precision-engineered optics to replace 150W to 250W metal halide delivering outstanding optical control, uniformity, and even illumination. The superior efficacy of the DSXF2 results in remarkable energy and maintenance savings. Die cast aluminum housing has integral heat sink fins to optimize thermal management through conductive and convective cooling. The LED driver is mounted in direct contact with the casting to promote low operating temperature and long life. Housing is completely sealed against moisture and environmental contaminants (IP65). Low EPA (0.6 to 1.4 sq ft) for optimized pole wind loading. Exterior parts are protected by a zinc infused Super Durable TGIC thermoset powder coat finish that provides superior resistance to corrosion and weathering. A tightly controlled multistage process ensures a minimum 3 mils thickness for a finish that can withstand extreme climate changes without cracking or peeling. Available in both textured and nontextured finishes. Standard Super Durable colors include dark bronze, black, natural aluminum and white.
